I'm not saying it's right...

...I'm saying that I understand...

Eleven people were arrested in southern Mexico on Tuesday after the mayor of their village was dragged out of his office, beaten, and then tied to a pickup truck and dragged through the streets of the town.

The angry group of farmers was demanding the mayor build a road he promised to construct during his campaign

This sort of thing is not going to get roads built. But getting politicians to stop promising that in government they will do what they cannot is a worthwhile goal.
