Mounties announced Wednesday afternoon that two bodies, believed to be that of fugitives Kam McLeod and Bryer Schmegelsky, were found Wednesday morning not far from the shoreline of the Nelson River.
McLeod, 19, and Schmegelsky, 18, from Port Alberni, B.C., were facing a second-degree murder charge in the death of a Vancouver man and the shooting deaths of an American woman and her Australian boyfriend.
