Apparently, ISIL is a little more open-minded than previously imagined. Sounds like the rest of her late comrades might end up being a little disappointed with their 72 virgins.

Because, you can never have too many unemployable, non-English speaking people wandering the snowy streets...ready or not
The Liberal government plans to process as many as 900 Syrian refugees a day - starting Dec. 1 - a shocking new report reveals.

That's 6,300 refugees a week.
For anyone who's curious, over an eight hour day, that's 1.875 refugees per minute... assuming nobody takes lunch, coffee breaks or goes to the bathroom.

UPDATE2: What could possibly go wrong?
Health Minister Jane Philpott and Immigration Minister John McCallum will update Canadians on their plan to resettle 25,000 Syrian refugees by year's end, as the military prepares to temporarily house hundreds of refugees in bases in Quebec and Ontario.
Don't you mean "thousands," guys?

LAST WORD: It's the darndest coincidence...

I've been following this story because, despite being arrested on Parliament Hill with a weapon, the police and media were STRANGELY RELUCTANT to release this person's identity.

Well, looky here...
A lawyer for Yasin Ali asked for the assessment in court Wednesday after the 56-year-old appeared by video from the courthouse cellblock on a charge of carrying a concealed cleaver into Parliament.

RCMP Commissioner Bob Paulson told reporters that Ali is known to authorities, but “not in the sort of counter-terrorism context.”

In fact, Paulson does not believe that the man’s actions were politically motivated or an act of terror.
Yeah, ol' Yasin was probably just a little cranky because the Liberals are talking about cancelling income splitting.
Ali’s court appearance Wednesday was slightly delayed after it became apparent he might need the assistance of an interpreter as he speaks Somali Arabic.

It is NOT KNOWN why he was in Ottawa or on Parliament Hill.
Yup... it's a freakin' mystery.

And, there's this...

Call me wacky... but if your mentally-ill son likes to dress up and play Soldiers & Jihadis... maybe you should try keeping a much closer watch on him...
Uniformed officers shot the suspected suicide bomber four times, the source said. The man, whose nationality was not immediately clear, was rushed to the trauma centre at St. Mike’s hospital in Toronto. He is expected to survive.

The arrests come after an ISIS terrorist bragged about how easy it was to smuggle thousands of covert jihadists into Europe under the guise of being a desperate refugee.

The Syrian operative claimed more than 4,000 covert ISIS gunmen had made it into western nations, hidden among innocent refugees.
What about the jihadis who are already here?

Turning to symbols and wishful thinking is becoming increasingly popular here in Canada, now that Justin Trudeau has ruled out using Canadian airpower or any other military assets here, in Syria.

Yessirree, it's a big ol' Care Bear world... even though CTV notes these millionaire sports heroes are actually "playing in defiance" of the terrorists, whatever that means.

Out here in Hastings county, a local paving outfit recently painted one of their cement trucks pink for the stated purpose of fighting breast cancer.

Of course, messaging (never mind practising medicine) via cement truck makes about as much sense as flooding cities with thousands of naked men in chaps and feather boas every year to make people feel less uneasy about militant homosexuality... "Yeah, yeah, Freddie... you're here, you're queer... now for the love of gawd and my 8 year-old niece in from Sudbury, please, please put your freakin' capri pants back on!!!"

You know who's actually doing a stellar job of broadcasting their philosophy and religious idealogy out into the public domain?

ISIS, that's who. The terrorist group's messages are invariably concise and unambiguous, relying not at all on symbols or sentiment.

A beheading here, a bombing there, dozens of bullet-riddled bodies in a baroque Parisian theatre... these guys are consistently and perpetually on point.

More importantly, they can send all these twitter-soaked, wishing-well simpletons screaming for their mummies anytime they like.
"HANNOVER, Germany -- The friendly soccer game between Germany and the Netherlands was cancelled at short notice due to the serious threat of an attack at the stadium on Tuesday.
I'd say it's pretty obvious who's winning the P.R. game here.
Security at the stadium was very tight, with police armed with machine-guns and maintaining a very obvious presence in the city. Reporters arriving for the game were searched, while a sniffer dog was deployed to check their bags.
Where's all those symbols of defiance now? They've gotta be around here somewhere.

Meanwhile, in a screamin' metaphor for all this "Imagine all the People" malarkey we're drowning in of late...

Ralph Goodale takes a page from Mad Magazine...
"What, me worry?"
First, a little background...
The Islamic State extremist group said in a statement posted online that the attacks were launched in retaliation for France's involvement in the air campaign against ISIS militants.
Now, add in a little Librano spin...
After briefing with top security officials, Public Safety Minister Ralph Goodale said there are no present concerns of an increased risk of a terror attack on Canadian soil.
Hey, what's that at the bottom of the same article... a nugget that perhaps eluded Mr G.?
The Department of National Defence said that two of Canada's CF-18 Hornets successfully struck an ISIS compound and two separate ISIS fighting positions Friday near the Iraqi city of Ramadi.
But I'm sure everything will be fine... 'cos Ralphie said so.

Of course, he also said this...
Goodale said that the Liberal government still intends to resettle 25,000 Syrian refugees in the country before the end of the year. He said that all of the refugees will still face the necessary security and health checks before they will be brought to Canada.

"There can be no compromise on the quality of the security work, it must be done and it must be done properly."
Wait a minute...
"So, in order to get the checks done before Christmas, CSIS will need 200 people working 24/7 with no breaks for sleep."
And...
"It takes 3 to 6 months for the RCMP to screen a Canadian citizen for a firearms PAL. That's for a CDN citizen with a lifetime of history in this country."
Yikers.

"This is the aim of what we are doing. It's not to withdraw. To the contrary: It's to be more effective."

While our moral & intellectual betters in the media are, as usual, still struggling to discern a possible reason for the horrific slaughter of mostly young French citizens...
ISIS released a statement today, claiming responsibility for the attacks.

"A group of believers from the soldiers of the Caliphate, may Allah strengthen and support it, set out targeting the capital of prostitution and vice…Paris."

"Let France and ALL NATIONS FOLLOWING ITS PATH know that they will continue to be at the top of the target list for the Islamic State and that the scent of death will not leave their nostrils as long as they partake in the crusader campaign."

"Indeed, this is just the beginning."
Well, good to know. As I've said previously...

That was too much for some Yale undergraduates to bear. A video showed a calm Christakis being attacked by students.
It seems especially fitting that these events are kicking off just as we begin the reign of Emperor Justinian the first.

But wait... there's more...
“We have a lot to do as a college and a community. Would you be willing to talk to me about these issues?” Assistant Vice President and Dean of Students Mary Spellman wrote in her email. “They are important to me and the DOS staff and we are working on how we can better serve students, especially those that don’t fit our CMC mold.”

The only publication reportedly allowed into the circle was his own. Like protesters at University of Missouri, students at Loyola formed a human chain around a protest site to keep the press out.

...the Liberals were gonna start doing any of that crazy stuff they promised...
Since the October 19 federal election, that saw the Trudeau Liberals defeat the Harper Conservatives, Canadian fighter jets have conducted air strikes 11 times in Iraq, destroying Islamic State fighting positions and ammunition caches.

The Canadian military says CF-18s will continue to fly in support of the air campaign against the Islamic State jihadists until it’s ordered to stand down.
So what's our fearless PILF saying?
“I made it very clear that it is Canada’s intention to withdraw from the bombing mission... We will have more to announce in the coming weeks.”
Speaking of soldiers...
"Gee, those Liberal promises are already disappearing. The new Veterans Affairs Minister, Kent Hehr says Canadians must have misheard if they think the Liberals are committed to re-opening the nine veterans offices they explicitly promised to re-open during the campaign."

The left’s intentional habit of confusing secularism with de-Christianization has done little to minimize the role of faith in Canadian society; increasingly, it just means as Christians stand down, religions whose roots in Canadian culture are far shallower step up.

What results is not a Canada free of the imagined regressive or irrational influences of faith, but simply one where religious cultures from the developing world fill an abandoned space.

Our new faithful, after all, do not generally hail from corners of the globe with particularly inspiring records when it comes to tolerating heretics — to say nothing of women and sexual minorities.

If only some bureaucrat...

...had an official, nicely watermarked piece of paper filed away in triplicate somewhere...
OTTAWA — The RCMP believes it has “come to a dead end” in its probe of where Parliament Hill shooter Michael Zehaf Bibeau got his gun — one of the most vexing questions about the events of Oct. 22, 2014.`
Zounds, Sherlock... wouldn't this despicable act have been a job for our now-defunct 2 billion dollar long gun registry?

Unfortunately, no... that particular Liberal Party P.R stunt was simply a (not especially complete or accurate) database of legally owned firearms of law-abiding citizens. Zehaf Bibeau, (like pretty much every other criminal lowlife responsible for virtually all Canadian homicides) wouldn't have made the cut...
Zehaf Bibeau, who had a criminal record, would have been barred from buying a gun.
Obviously "barred" doesn't actually mean that anyone could stop this terrorist from acquiring a gun. Just ask all those firearms enthusiasts up at Jane & Finch.

Lest you think they weren't really trying...
The RCMP devoted more than 130 full-time investigators and staff to the case.
The only thing that might have made a difference that day is if the soldiers on duty had been allowed to carry loaded rifles. Apparently though, we don't trust our soldiers any more than we trust farmers, hunters or sport shooters who go through rigid training, testing and close scrutiny by law enforcement before being allowed to own a firearm.

But, back to our homegrown terrorist... don't even think about pissing on Zehaf Bibeau's grave. He's back in Libya having been given what some consider a martyrs burial...
The Embassy of Libya in Ottawa confirmed Friday that Zehaf-Bibeau’s body was sent to Libya last year. A family member in that country said the body was buried in mid-November.

Zehaf-Bibeau’s cousin, Ashraf Zehaf said he feels Canadian authorities provoked the Oct. 22 attack by denying a troubled young man the freedom to travel abroad. “As for the public opinion in Libya, there are some here who call him a hero..."
Boy, that's some "Religion of Peace."

Speaking of firearms, here's a question... if Justin Trudeau abolishes private ownership of guns in Canada... will he also do away with his expensive, armed to the teeth RCMP security detail?

My guess is, don't hold your breath.

It's not just marksmanship at issue here. Obviously, very little thought was given to overshoot & ricochet.

Despite what you might think, the average line cop is much less proficient & safety conscious than your average hunter or target shooter.

According to police, a 50-year-old man standing on the sidewalk near Yonge and College streets was attacked and knocked to the ground by a man he didn’t know.

The assailant continued on into the mall, shoving a 70-year-old woman as he went down a flight of stairs.

When he got the bottom, he punched a 54-year-old woman in the face, knocking her to the ground, police said.

Paramedics transported the 50-year-old man and 54-year-old woman to hospital, where the man was treated for a broken hip and wrist, and the woman was treated for a broken wrist and bruising to her face.

"The New York City murder rate is typical. Year in, year out, about 90 percent of homicide victims are nonwhite males, as are 90 percent of their killers."
Funny how seldom things like that get mentioned in the media. And that's incredibly corrosive and misleading.

"What more needs to be done to combat the high suicide rate among transgender people?"
Unfortunately, despite Bruce Jenner's newfound celebrity as the latest & greatest Kardashian sister, if there is a solution to transgender morbidity, it resides outside the surgical realm.

Anyone who looks at the academic literature, as compiled by folks like the National Institutes of Health, will see that the suicide rate for pre & post-op transsexuals is nearly identical at just over 40%.
Persons with transsexualism, after sex reassignment, have considerably higher risks for mortality, suicidal behaviour, and psychiatric morbidity than the general population.

Our findings suggest that sex reassignment, although alleviating gender dysphoria, may not suffice as treatment for transsexualism, and should inspire improved psychiatric and somatic care after sex reassignment for this patient group.
The established facts, which the transgendered community do their best to suppress, show that transsexualism is a psychiatric condition that is not "cured" by cutting off your existing genitalia and replacing them with a surgical facsimile.

It's all there in black and white...
The review of more than 100 international medical studies of post-operative transsexuals by the University of Birmingham's aggressive research intelligence facility (Arif) found no robust scientific evidence that gender reassignment surgery is clinically effective.
Actually, it's worse than that...
Research from the US and Holland suggests that up to a fifth of patients regret changing sex.
20% regret changing genders, over 40% attempt suicide.

This is not a problem you can solve "from the heart outward."

The remaining 277 seats are allocated to the other parties in a proportional fashion, and no second round takes place.

"The Liberals promised to up that to 25,000, beginning immediately. The platform promises to spend $250 million, including $100 million in the current fiscal year, 'to increase Syrian refugee processing, as well as sponsorship and settlement services.'”
That's $10,000 per refugee, right? That just might cover welfare housing & food for one year, but let's remember these people are not well educated, don't speak the language and have had minimal health care, so that figure needs to be multiplied, probably by at least four to cover "sponsorship and settlement services."

And it needs to be spent every year until Ahmad is employable. Call it a billion dollars yearly.

That's just one Justin promise... and it doesn't improve a single middle class Canadian life.

That's what you voted for, Canada. They promised us billions of dollars in deficit spending, and fuddle my sainted duddle, they'll deliver.

Dalton McGuinty's "Green Plan," adopted by Kathleen Wynne has put Ontario 8 billion dollars in the red. In Ontario, we now pay the highest electricity rates in North America. It is killing manufacturing jobs daily.

Government exists to perpetuate itself. Bureaucrats must spend all the money they're given or their budgets will be cut. Justin promised to slash a hole in Canada's national purse and enough people got on board that it's actually gonna happen.

This is a sad day for Canada.
