Brandi Allen said her son Brian Ogle was targeted because of his pro-police comments on Facebook after students wore Black Lives Matter shirts to Sylacauga High School last week. Police say he was beaten up by multiple people in an abandoned parking lot Friday.

“My son took it to the principal at Sylacauga High School and I commend him for that. He showed her the threats that were being made to him, but she told him there was nothing she could do. I'm appalled.”

Mass casualties in Hoboken, NJ

"Some passengers said the train seemed to be moving faster than usual as it entered the station, but they didn't think much of it -- until the impact."

More reports that the train did not slow down are emerging...

Leon Offengenden, a passenger in the third car of the train said he wasn’t in a seat with a window, but doesn’t think the train slowed down when it was approaching the Hoboken station. “There was no brakes, all of a sudden just crash,” he said. “Something happened.”

Passenger Linda Albelli, 62, told Reuters that she was sitting at the rear of the train as it barreled into the station.

“I noticed, ‘he’s not slowing up, we’re going too fast,’ and with that there was this tremendous crash.”

More than 100 people were injured and at least three people killed.

"Trains normally come in at 2 or 3 mph by the time they get to the resting spot where people depart," Mike Larson, a New Jersey transit employee, told reporters in Hoboken. "He came in at a high rate of speed. He went straight through the bumper block, through the air, took the ceiling out."

Investigators retrieved an event recorder from the New Jersey Transit train and they expect to download information from the device Friday morning, a US official with direct knowledge of the probe said.

The engineer, Thomas Gallagher, 48, who has worked for the New Jersey Transit for 29 years was treated and released from a hospital. He hasn't yet spoken with National Transportation Safety Board investigators.

The Liberal government has been enforcing the law “aggressively,” setting targets to strip 40 to 60 Canadians each month of their citizenship. According to the Justice Department, 206 individuals have been stripped of their citizenship since May 2015 — about 18 per month.

Patti Solis Doyle, who was Hillary Clinton’s campaign manager in 2008 until the Iowa caucuses, admitted on Friday that a Clinton campaign staffer had, in fact, circulated the Birther conspiracy theory that Barack Obama was born outside the U.S. and therefore potentially ineligible to serve in the presidency.

Hillary just called Trump a racist straight out and completely ignored his question about Patti Doyle. And the moderator immediately segued to "Cybercrime" before it could be readdressed.

Hillary also emphatically stated murders were down, in fact, she called for that to be "fact-checked." Well, lookee here...

The country’s murder rate jumped more last year than it had in nearly half a century, newly released federal crime data showed.

Hillary next accuses Trump of being in cahoots with Vladimir Putin... in effect helping Putin to attack America. She further says Trump "invited Putin to hack into Americans." Moderator Holt is fine with that.

And, it was a two on one fight all night...

Trump was challenged on his answers Monday night at Hofstra University in New York at least six times by NBC's Lester Holt, according to the Washington Examiner's count. Hillary Clinton, meanwhile was asked no follow-up questions for the 90-minute debate.

Six people were injured when a shooter opened fire at a southwest Houston shopping center on Monday morning, police and fire officials said.

The suspected shooter was shot and killed by police. Houston Police Department bomb squad was at the site of the shootings after a suspicious vehicle, believed to belong to the suspected shooter.
