Oh Canada

That was then...

A judge sentenced Mr. Tobin to three years in prison and a seven-year driving ban last year for his role in the death of a close friend on Christmas Eve 2010.
...this is now...
The son of former Newfoundland premier Brian Tobin has been granted day parole after serving six months in jail for a drunk-driving stunt that killed his friend.

What are you going to do about it?

Canadians are funny. They like to point out obvious corruption and scandal in the political system, yet they never do anything about it.

The Americans fought a Revolutionary War to destroy the EXACT system you are whining about right now.

If you are not calling for elected judges, if you are not protesting these judges, then you are doing nothing.
