Of course, his name's not Duffy...

...and he's not a Conservative... so look for this story to disappear after today's news cycle...

Olivier recorded his telephone conversations with Lougheed, whom he describes as "a Liberal king maker" and with Wynne's deputy chief of staff, Pat Sorbara, in which he said he was asked if he wanted a job or an appointment.

Gerry Lougheed, a prominent Sudbury Liberal, has been charged with one count of counselling an offence not committed and one count of unlawfully influencing or negotiating appointments.
Yet another Liberal scandal. That's what you voted for, Ontario.

Now you have to live with it.

A cheating Sudbury Liberal is certainly a big story in Sudbury but not Canada.

"nonny says... a big story in Sudbury but not Canada"

sure. two of kathleen wynne's most senior aides caught trying to bribe the liberal candidate they displaced for their drop-in fave and it's not a story.

just like dalton paying $20,000 to an aide's boyfriend to wipe cabinet minister's harddrives just before he left office.

@Neo Conservative. There was only ONE aide to Wynne that was being investigated and no charges were laid against her. Not sure where you're getting your info. This is such a local, yocal story so far.

sorry, nonny... read slower.

olivier recorded two individuals, gerry lougheed, a prominent sudbury liberal kingmaker and wynne's deputy chief of staff, pat sorbara trying to offer him a job. there was a third unrecorded session with wynne.

so far only lougheed has been charged, but this dirty laundry goes all the way to wynne's office.

e-health records, the air ambulance scandal, the lottery scandal and a billion dollar payoff to not build a gas plant.

the record speaks for itself.

one more note about mr lougheed... in addition to owning a funeral home, he is also a recipient of a political pork appointment...

"Premier Wynne had refused to remove him as Chair of the Sudbury Police Commission, a provincial appointment."

he's on the police commission... gotta love that.

your tax dollars... another liberal's pockets.
