Seems to me... it's a cross between...
.."Lord of the Flies" and "Animal Farm"...
I can't wait to see who comes outta this piece of cheesy, robotic street-theatre with an Escalade and a Manhattan loft...
Occupy Wall Street’s Finance Committee has nearly $500,000 in the bank, and donations continue to pour in -- but its reluctance to share the wealth with other protesters is fraying tempers.
Some drummers -- incensed they got no money to replace or safeguard their drums after a midnight vandal destroyed their instruments Wednesday -- are threatening to splinter off.
“Fuck Finance. I hope Mayor Bloomberg gets an injunction and demands to see the movement’s books. We need to know how much money we really have and where it’s going.”

We, like, need to raise money to add to this and get lots and lots more, like, invest it so we can have huge protests and get these investor guys to, like, change and give the money to ,like, the people.
Gather from the comments to the story that it was probably a cheezed-off neighbour who did in the drums. The committee may well be exercising a rare bit of discretion in refusing to fund the drummers.
You mean that those 99%ers have become the 1%. Ain't capitalism great. lol
And they have that money in a BANK, how could they.
And they aren't sharing equally, why not.
And some are complaining that their daily allotment for winter gear is not enough.
I am sure they want to pay a huge amount to the IRS as they are now the rich.
Wasn't it "Pogo" who said "we has met the enemy and he is us"

So my question is:
Who gets to seize the wealth? Someone is going to make off with that $500,000.....

ah, my friends... there's a reason orwell's "animal farm" is such a timeless classic.
