The uN Democratic Party can't even get the political donation rules right and they somehow believe that they are Canada's next government.

wouldn't you just love to see jack and olivia's receipts for reimbursement for all those, cough, cough... office expenses?

exactly how much backstreet shiatsu does it take to salve a tortured socialist conscience?

"NDP Leader Jack Layton racked up the highest expense account despite being the leader of the smallest party. Layton billed taxpayers for $628,913.68."

the good news is... at least olivia could afford to buy her own roses...

"MP Olivia Chow, who isn't a party leader, knows how to party nonetheless... $530,304.73."

Oh Neo. You seem to be really really excited by this.

But I'm sure you've seen the list. And if you saw this list, you'd also know the average seems to fall somewhere between 400 and 550 grand .

I think you'll find some bigger spenders throughout that list. Even PC Laurie Hawn, spent well over 600G

Oh here's the list in case you're somewhat confused...

skinny... are you saying you support mp's (of whatever political stripe) who rack up these obscene expenses?

that makes about as much sense as your previous comments like...

"That commenter said, 'IF I were firebombing you', which any sane person could see wasn't a threat, it was a hypothetical scenario."

the difference between us is that i'm gonna check your link and see if my member is part of this greedy, rapacious horde taking advantage of the canadian taxpayer... and act accordingly.

i certainly wouldn't use it to try justify this outrageous behaviour... especially infamous double-dippers like jack & olivia.

neo, I think you misunderstand me. I did not say at any time, that this was ok. If you have a look at the link, you will see many, many MPs, of all political stripes, running up charges in the range I mentioned. There are some notable exception,s sure. And, absolutely, Olivia Chow's number was a little higher than the average. And no, I'm not 'ok' with this at all, I live in her riding.

The difference between you and I, is that if a party I have supported doesn't live up to it's promises and rules, I drop my support. I don't simply holler about "the other guy" endlessly.

As for your dredging up a previous comment about your 'nony' and his firebomb comment, one can only guess why that is. But, you're right, it doesn't make any sense.

Anyway, I hope the link enlightens, I have to drive my father in for his surgery for the day, so enjoy.

"skinny says... if a party I have supported doesn't live up to it's promises and rules, I drop my support."

so, obviously, after jack got caught sans trou in a whorehouse being raided for underage asian sex slaves... and olivia joined jack in pitiless denial... you switched your support... where?

and, sorry... olivia chow's number was not "a little higher than the average"... it was an obscenity perpetrated on the canadian taxpayer. i can't believe you would try to ameliorate this outrage.

after dalton's various financial scandals... and especially after abandoning the good folk of caledonia to suckass political correctness... that leaves what?
