The problem with "PUSH" media

Statistically, you're way more likely to be killed by a drunk driver... but let's face it... shark attacks get the headline every time.

Of course, some shark attacks get more media attention than others.

tiny chance of dying from a terrorist attack and politicians milk that one for all its worth.

tell that to nathan cirillo's family.

we've had any number of foiled plots here in canada, including one that recently went to trial in bc.

i suspect that glorious martyrdom operations will continue to become more frequent and more deadly. imagine a suicide bomber on the subway platform at yonge & bloor or the eaton center.

not a question of "if"... simply "when".

p.s. dear nonny...

you forgot to preface your statement above with... "me and the guys working the fry station agree that..."

i refer you to kate over at sda...

"According to the National Consortium for the Study of Terrorism and Responses to Terrorism (START), the number of terrorist attacks in 2014 increased by 35 percent, while total fatalities increased 81 percent."

just sayin'.
