Reading the fine green print

If you live in Ontario and have voted Liberal, you've forfeited the right to complain about your outrageous electricity bills...

Ontario generates just 0.5 per cent of global carbon emissions. Even a giant 20-per-cent reduction would knock just a tenth of 1 per cent off global emissions. A minuscule gain for the globe, at a potentially enormous cost to the people of Ontario, and all Canadians.
But it's all worth it, right?

Those who have voted Liberal have not forfeited their right to complain as you have written.

stupid people deserve the pain the bring upon themselves but unfortunately those who understand the problems get kicked as well.

sure they have. you can't drink the kool-ade and then complain about the cyanide.

wait til their six year-old comes home from school singing songs about sexual consent. (don't get the reference? google kathleen wynne and benjamin levin.)

I think this "only 0.5%" thing is dumb. If you have 200 places that produce 0.5% each, then you have 100%...so what? If 100 places, all producing 0.5%, cut it by half, you'd have a reduction of 25%....which is better than nothing

i think putting ontario taxpayers in billions of dollars of debt for such a minimal return is crazy.

did you read the linked article? your grandkids will be paying for daltons green program... and there's no payoff... it's a p.r. trick like chretiens long gun registry.
