But for some of the Christians who had made it out in this convoy, it was not just privations they wanted to talk about, but their ordeal at the hands of Hezbollah — a contrast to the Shiites, who make up a vast majority of the population in southern Lebanon and broadly support the militia.See, what Ahmad and the boys are doing is firing their rockets from your backyard. Then when the Israelis fire back... you die. My all time favourite is using ambulances to transport terrorists to new firing positions. Lots of casualties, lots of carnage.
“Hezbollah came to Ain Ebel to shoot its rockets,” said Fayad Hanna Amar, a young Christian man, referring to his village. “They are shooting from between our houses.”
“Please,’’ he added, “write that in your newspaper.”
Even the professional lefties are disgusted....
United Nations humanitarian chief Jan Egeland blasted Hezbollah as "cowards" for operating among Lebanese civilians.Way to go Religion of Peace!
Mr Egeland said when he was in Lebanon in the Hezbollah heartland he had said: “Hezbollah must stop this cowardly blending in among women and children. I heard they were making statements that they were proud of losing fewer armed men than civilians."
