HALIFAX — The girlfriend of a gunman who carried out a mass shooting in Nova Scotia has renounced any claim on his estate, initially valued at more than $1.2 million.

The woman — whom police have referred to as the gunman’s common law spouse — was named as the sole heir and executor of his estate.

Would Adam Schiff lie to you?insert alt text here
"If President Trump is not impeached, the American people might get a say in who is president," Schiff said gravely. "We simply can't allow that to happen.

"When the Founders wrote that founding document thing, they never imagined there would be electoral outcomes that Democrats did not agree with."

Until recently, Rolf Dinsdale was a member of the punk rock band Shit From Hell, along with longtime Liberal strategist Warren Kinsella. The band's songs include “Horny Single Mom” and “Jesus Got Wood.” The video for the latter features a writhing woman and the lyrics, “Baby you're going to get impaled.”
Now, don't you read anything scurrilous into this, folks... ol' Rolf has an explanation for all that as well...
Dinsdale says the songs show his sense of humour and he considers his material pro-Christian. Jesus Got Wood is a Christian anthem."
Rolf, Rolf, settle down... this is Canada, you can piss all over Christianity til the cows come home. The question you should be asking is... "Honey, does this hat make my head look stupid?"

I look forward to seeing Justin Trudeau signing your nomination papers. Maybe JT can join you in a few verses of Jesus Got Wood.

That evil, backstabbing Stephen Harp...

...hang on a second...
-- By Warren Kinsella, QMI Agency -- At staff and campaign meetings — which, full disclosure, I also attended for a while — Rocco was a constant presence, beaming away with those impressive equine teeth of his, but contributing precious little.
Oh, good grief... this isn't gonna be another one of those infamous Kinsella... oh, who am I kidding, of course it is...

human shrapnel
Rossi was dishing to the Yanks about what was going on in Ignatieff’s office. He kvetched that Ignatieff wasn’t listening to super-smart guys like him. Instead, Rossi whined, the Grit boss was much more preoccupied with his wife Zsuzsanna Zhosar.
Man... I just had this weird flash of deja-vu... like there was some other Kinsella-Rossi connection... wait...
"Rumours are swirling that the Rocco Rossi team will announce, as early as its Monday morning policy announcement, that it has landed a big political fish for its campaign team."
Hmmm... anybody remember how that Cinderella story worked out?

And, call me wacky... who was the guy who recently planted that machete between the Puffin King's shoulder blades?
"Secondly, Michael Ignatieff feels more comfortable among Rosedalian Liberals. You know, the ones who – over martinis at the Toronto Tennis Club – always felt more kinship with the likes of John Turner or Paul Martin than they did with, say, Pierre Trudeau or Jean Chretien. You know, Liberal lefties who win elections."
Doesn't Mr Kinsella allegedly make a living in "public relations"... specialising in people of a political stripe?

I guess that explains some Liberal insiders infamously coining the phrase "human shrapnel."

Why wait for May 2... when Special K...

...can simply look, yet again, into his crystal ball...
First off, the Liberals and the NDP had a shot at working together, about two years ago, but they blew it. The forces of the Left allowed themselves to be scared away off of cooperation/ coalition/ merger by Harper – despite the fact that Harper himself had brought together the forces of the Right, and then won government.

Secondly, Michael Ignatieff feels more comfortable among Rosedalian Liberals. You know, the ones who – over martinis at the Toronto Tennis Club – always felt more kinship with the likes of John Turner or Paul Martin than they did with, say, Pierre Trudeau or Jean Chretien. You know, Liberal lefties who win elections.

Thirdly, Iggy and his Rosedalian senior staff thought they could ignore Jack Layton’s NDP. By becoming a paler shade of blue, they assured themselves, they’d win back government. Thus, the Liberal chief was more hawkish than Harper on Afghanistan, more enthusiastic about the Oil Sands, and more willing to look at Medicare “alternatives” than any Liberal ever should. In so doing, Iggy scared away soft NDP voters, all of whom now consider Iggy to be a paler version of Harper.

What’s the solution for the Left? Same as it was two years ago: listen to smart guys like Chretien, Ed Broadbent, Roy Romanow, and bring together progressives to form a single, formidable political force.

That’s how to beat Harper.

The good news, I suppose, is that those of us on the political left will now have four long years to get our act together.
Oh, buddy... we feel your pain...
I want it back the way it used to be

I saw the pictures and I thought...

...these guys just missed a really, really powerful campaign slogan...
I like that ol' Rocco has a sense of humour and is "incredibly proud of his Italian heritage"... I just think he didn't take it far enough, 'cos with a mug like that, he could've gone with...
"Rocco Rossi: he'll make sure the trains run on time"...
I'm not so sure though... he's sending the right message about fiscal responsibility...
"His campaign said they would spend at least $100,000 on the ad campaign." --
I'm just afraid to actually bring it up with him... in case he sends "Walnuts" Kinsella to make me an offer I can't refuse.

FROM THE COMMENTS:
"Appealing to the Italian demographic by making an ad featuring the strongest negative stereotype about Italian people and applying it to the candidate."

"Good job, idiots."
I understand Warren Kinsella is currently trumpeting the ads as a stroke of genius.

Hmmm, here's a thought... try imagine the furore & outrage in the left-o-sphere if someone from the Ford campaign had made even the slightest inference about Rossi being associated with the mob.

Yeah... I know.

Meanwhile, apparently the crew on the now ditched Israel junket included Dr. Dawg, Jason Cherniak, Kate McMillan, Kathy Shaidle and Terry Glavin.
Obviously the CIC was planning a new “reality” show. The video would have been priceless.
Kate: Jeez Louise, that rocket nearly hit the bus.
Dawg: Fluke, it was homemade, no bigger than a firecracker.
Jason: Rockets fall from heaven upon the wicked.
Kathy: Turn the bus around.
Terry: My pal Amir said they’d land one a couple of hundred meters short for a photo-op.
Dawg: You know Amir!
LAST WORD:   Special K's a lawyer? Seriously?
"I'm trying to figure out which thought is making me smile more: the total self-destruction of Kinsella's case in his nuisance suit against me, or the prospect that he will remain as Michael Ignatieff's war room boss, with his increasingly bizarre, emotional judgment calls."
Apparently, there's also a little more dick-waving going on tonight...
"Oh, and when I told folks what I'm doing with a certain Conservative cabinet minister - details of which to be revealed tomorrow - the news practically got a Standing O!"

Further to Agenda-quiddick

"We know Kinsella hates it when people mention his involvement in Adscam. He threatened to sue the National Post’s Andrew Coyne over it. He threatened to sue the Globe’s Normal Spector over it. He once called Justice Gomery’s inquiry a “pile of judicial garbage” – classy, coming from a lawyer."

"But for some reason Kinsella never did the one thing you’d expect someone to do who actually believed that Justice Gomery was wrong: he never appealed his findings."
Wait a minute... he's suing somebody... for what... LIBEL????

You mean like saying stuff that destroys somebody's reputation?

Seriously?

How pathetic have we become...

...when we have to apologise for correcting somebody's mistakes?
In an interview yesterday, Ms. Greene apologized for correcting Ms. Jean, who represents the Crown as Canada's head of state.

"I feel very badly that I might have embarrassed her." Ms. Greene said.
I'm simply speechless.

My question is... "If you put Nancy Greene... or more to the point, Warren Kinsella... and Kathy Shaidle in the same room... would the universe explode?"

Now we just have to watch Iggy's stylised and elaborate courtship dance...
Shortly before Ignatieff asked for the debate to be adjourned, he said, "The house should know, this is going to be a close call."

Later, on CBC, he said, "There are positive aspects of this budget, which I believe are the result of pressure from the opposition.
