Apparently, the first dead body is deductible...

-- TORONTO -- It’s been two years since Christopher Skinner was brutally beaten, run over and left for dead on a downtown Toronto street.

Christopher had been out in the Entertainment District with his sister celebrating her 23rd birthday the night he was killed.

Investigators believe he was on his way home, walking along Adelaide St., possibly attempting to hail a taxi, when his hand brushed up against a black SUV that was stopped at a red light at Victoria St. around 3 a.m.

The occupants of the SUV allegedly beat him up and then drove over him as they took off.

“He wouldn’t listen to me; he knew better and I didn’t know what I was talking about,” recalled the father of the city’s 58th murder victim.

He added his son associated with the worst kind of thugs. Yombo said they would come to the house, threaten and even assault him.

He said his son also hung out with Jermaine Derby, Sealand White and Albert Kiwubeyi — all executed during the last seven weeks.

I'm with the JFCCO. I just thank the gawds his name wasn't George White, 'cos that would have been a real thumb in the eye. Obviously, if you're any sort of "concerned citizen" in the GTA... this week anyway... "optics" have to be the biggest item on the agenda.

So far this year, there have been 28 gun murders in Toronto. Shockingly, 25 of the victims are black males. There have been 12 arrests in those cases, all black males, many just teenage boys, she pointed out.
