It doesn't take much to fire up Hersh, the investigative journalist who has been the nemesis of US presidents since the 1960s and who was once described by the Republican party as "the closest thing American journalism has to a terrorist".
Of course, he's less celebrated when he turns his critical eye a little to the left...
"The Obama administration lies systematically," he claims, "Yet none of the leviathans of American media, the TV networks or big print titles, challenge him."

"It's pathetic, they are more than obsequious, they are afraid to pick on this guy [Obama]," he declares in an interview with the Guardian.
He's not afraid to get into specifics...
On the subject of the Navy Seal raid that supposedly resulted in the death of the Al-Qaeda terror leader, Hersh remarked, “Nothing’s been done about that story, it’s one big lie, not one word of it is true.”

Hersh added that the Obama administration habitually lies but they continue to do so because the press allows them to get away with it.
I miss real journalism.

So You Think You Can Think

No wonder Al-Shabaab thinks we're ripe for the picking...
In a body-popping bid for wider understanding, scientists from Australia to the Netherlands are making interpretive dance videos based on their Ph.D. dissertations. To make an esoteric thesis come alive, they leap, swoon, spin and krump.

The performances -- all captured on video and posted online -- belong to an annual international competition called "Dance Your Ph.D," which for five years has been turning scientific obsessions into performance art. To qualify, the author of the Ph.D. dissertation must perform in the dance. Typically, the scientists submit the videos after being awarded their Ph.D.s.
And like any contemporary kindergarten class... everybody is a winner.
"It makes you think in a different way," said Matt Kent who is among the contest judges. "Even if I hate the performance, I love the idea that they are trying."

$621 billion is a pretty eye-glazing number. Most readers will find it easier to think about how this number translates to a typical American family—the very family candidate Obama promised would see $2,500 in annual savings as far as the eye could see.

Between 2014 and 2022, the increase in national health spending (which the Medicare actuaries specifically attribute to the law) amounts to $7,450 per family of 4.

Because that's what socialists do...
"In 1968, when Trudeau went from rich, socialist professor who had never held a real job in his life to prime minister, Canada’s national debt was a modest $11.3 billion; the federal deficit was zero."

It's official... when you start to fall over yourselves about politically correct silliness like this, it's time to disband the whole effete organisation.

I just about threw up when I heard Ottawa Mayor Jim Watson sombrely announcing that the whole city was in mourning for these people... even before bodies had been pulled from the wreckage. what murder
•• TORONTO •• A 16-year-old boy is dead after he was shot in the neck in an apartment on Weston Road near Lawrence Avenue West late Sunday.

The shooting is the latest in a spate of recent gun violence. In the last six months, at least six teens have been shot and five have died from their injuries.
Wait a minute, where's Alok Mukherjee? Where's Andre Marin?

Where's the garish, manipulative OCAP death parade? Why isn't this shooting dominating the nationwide news cycle?

Oh, right... no cops... no vultures.

"It’s all eerily familiar to the last big protest he led when he helped co-opt the Sammy Yatim march. Is Hussan simply on auto-pilot, or is this an intentional provocation?"
Orwell was right.

All those dead teenagers... I think I better write a poem.

FLIP... wait, I mean FLOP

Following in Hillary Clinton's illustrious footsteps...
“President Assad has been very generous with me in terms of the discussions we have had,” Mr. Kerry, as a senator from Massachusetts, told an audience at the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace in March 2011. He predicted that Mr. Assad would change for the better.
That was then.

This is now...
Today, Mr. Kerry is a leading advocate for attacking Mr. Assad’s regime. On Friday, he called the man he once befriended a thug and murderer.”
That's how the hopey-changey lunatic left does it.

Little less pot... little more paperwork?

So what's up with the party of... "Dave's not here, man"...
"Justin Trudeau's successful and popular visit last week there indicates that there is a lot of support to work with and we look forward to waging a strong campaign there as we will across the country," Andree-Lyne Halle told QMI Agency.
Hey, full speed ahead, huh? Nuthin' gonna stop this political juggernau... wait a minute...
It turns out the Federal Liberal Association for Central Nova - the riding in which Antigonish is located - had been put on notice only a week before, the result of failing to comply with various financial submissions requirements of the Canada Elections Act.
Oh, oh... might be a "non-voluntary deregistration" comin' down the pike.

Hey, Justin... maybe scope out the office for the giggley dude with the cheezie dust paws. Victimless crime, my sweet patootie.

"In other words, the only reason there was a large deficit, was because of the huge interest payments (33 cents on every tax dollar) Canada had to pay to service the enormous debt Trudeau built up."
