UPDATE: CTV glosses over "cultural relativity angle"...
On Tuesday, August 8, 2017, at approximately 3:18 a.m., a man was in the King Street West and Brant Street area and was approached by a group of men he did not know. One of the men from the group pointed a firearm at the man and made a demand for a chain the man was wearing.

A struggle ensued between the man and the group, at which point the man was shot in the leg, and the group of men fled.

LAST WORD: Don't hip-hop, er...

...jump to conclusions...
Toronto police Staff Sgt. Al Love said police are looking for an armed suspect who is described as male, five foot eight, wearing all black clothing. The suspect reportedly fled the scene in a grey vehicle.

“Right now we are also waiting to talk to the victim to see if we can get a more accurate description of the outstanding suspect.”
See, just because Flemingdon Park is a notorious welfare hell hub of gang violence, you can't assume... wait a minute...
