JUSTIN'S BOUGHT AND PAID FOR MEDIA WEIGHS IN

IS THERE ANY POLITICAL APPENDAGE THE CBC WON'T SUCK?insert alt text here
-- "Toronto residents directly affected by a deadly mass shooting on the Danforth nearly four years ago say they welcome a new federal firearms bill that would freeze the purchase, sale, importation and transfer of handguns in Canada." --
Which does not apply to the Danforth shooter. Faisal Hussain used an illegal, unregistered gun not affected by any Canadian laws. This is the profile of a typical Canadian gun crime.
-- "Police discovered a cache of ammunition underneath Faisal Hussain’s bed, including loaded magazines for an AK-47 rifle, two fully loaded 9mm handgun magazines, and a variety of loose ammunition. They also found 9/11 conspiracy videos." --

Does anyone, in their wildest fantasies, imagine ol' Faisal would've been stopped by Justin making handguns 'super-double' illegal

Even professional anti-gun lobbyists recognise that Trudeau is addressing a non-issue and hoping that the sheeple won't notice...

-- "Tracey Wilson, vice-president of public relations for the Canadian Coalition for Firearm Rights and a registered federal lobbyist, said the proposed legislation puts too much emphasis on regulating legal firearms and not enough on controlling unlicensed weapons." --

This is actually the crux of the matter. Canadians with legal, registerd firearms do not go apeshit and kill people.  At it's very best, this is like trying to solve drunk driving by banning automobiles.

And, mark my words... it will do nothing to make Canadians safer.

DON'T TAKE MY WORD FOR IT

"'Aha!' You say, 'so those clever Liberals are onto something.' Except for one inconvenient little fact: Most handguns used in violent crime in Canada are not legal. Upwards of 90 per cent are smuggled in from the States. Some come from South America. The largest chunk enter through First Nations that straddle the Canada-U.S. border."
And that's swampy, treacherous ground for politicians and the lunatic left...
-- “I think that kind of talk about sort of, you know, where this all arises from, or sort of who’s to blame, is not very constructive,” Toronto Mayor John Tory told reporters in Nathan Phillips Square. --
You mean 'the truth,' Mr Mayor?
