Premier Doug Ford said Monday that Ontario could receive its first, small batch of COVID-19 vaccine doses as early as next week. Residents, staff, essential caregivers and employees at long-term care and retirement homes, will be the first to receive the shot. There's just one small hitch...
"Ontario may not be able to administer COVID-19 shots inside long-term care homes and retirement homes immediately due to concerns that one of the vaccines the province is set to receive could deteriorate with too much movement."
UPDATE: "Missed it by that much"
Here's a question.
Suppose the government does manage to get it's problematic "Speedy Gonzales" vaccine into nursing homes and it starts to kill all these old folks with multiple co-morbidities? Who's gonna take responsibility for that?
