Cukier Monster?

E-mails obtained by The Globe and Mail reveal that the Ryerson investigation was initially prompted by a 1,500-word complaint that was made on June 30, 2015, to senior administrators at the university.

The complaint alleged that Dr. Cukier’s department was a “toxic work environment” where lower-level employees were fearful for their jobs.

Among the allegations were claims that employees were expected and asked to work weekends and overtime without compensation, that work was publicly criticized and that burnout was rife.

“When you complete … tasks and assignments, you are critiqued and your work is often torn apart,” the complaint stated.

Dr. Cukier has not spoken to the media about the reasons for the departure. She is currently on a sabbatical from the school.

A man in his early 20s is expected to survive after he was shot three times in downtown Toronto Wednesday night. Police say 11 to 12 shots were fired at the scene.

A 15-year-old boy was shot inside a Toronto Community Housing complex in the city's west end overnight. The shooting happened just before 3 a.m. near Windermere Avenue and The Queensway, according to Toronto police.

And...

Police say no injuries were reported after a driver was shot at near the intersection of Chetta Place and Dixon Road in Etobicoke early this morning. According to witnesses, two men approached a vehicle in the area and started shooting.

And...

A Rexdale woman in her 20s was taken to hospital around 11:30 a.m. with non-life-threatening injuries. About a half-hour later, police received reports of a shooting nearby at Tandridge Cres. and Arcot Blvd., where officers found five shell casings.

The good news is, no innocent grandmothers were harmed in these 'incidents'.

Detective Dave Dickenson revealed the existence of a video which is a ‘narrative’ of the time frame in which the shooting took place.

Funny how the CBC never seems to be able to come up with that information.

Or, if you're in a real hurry, you can go into your kitchen and grab a knife from the cutlery drawer.
