A Pakistani fashion model has been strangled to death by her brother after posting a photo with a Muslim cleric and joking about Ramadan online. Qandeel Baloch, real name Fauzia Azeem, was killed in her sleep by one of her six brothers.

Baloch has suffered the same fate as hundreds of other Pakistani women each year, as honor killings continue unabated.

Lest you imagine this is some sort of anomaly...

A Pakistani woman on Wednesday tied her 17-year-old daughter to a bed, drenched her in kerosene and set her on fire after discovering the young woman had eloped and gotten married without the family's knowledge.

Honor killings are depressingly common in Pakistan, with more than 1,000 last year alone.

Three people were seriously hurt and one suffered minor injuries in the attack with an axe and a knife in Wuerzburg.

Bavarian Interior Minister Joachim Herrmann said the attacker was a 17-year-old Afghan refugee who had been living in the nearby town of Ochsenfurt. He told public broadcaster ARD that the teenager appeared to have travelled to Germany as an unaccompanied minor.

Police said the attacker fled the train but was chased by officers who shot him dead.

After seeing a man shot multiple times right beside her, Lavish Reynolds whips out her phone and begins an eerily calm & condemnatory exposition that sounds like it came from a bad highschool play.

"We got pulled over for a busted tail light in the back," Reynolds said. “They killed my boyfriend. He’s licensed he’s carried so he’s licensed to carry. He was trying to get out his ID and his wallet out his pocket and he let the officer know that he was that he had a firearm and he was reaching for his wallet and the officer just shot him."

The officer, in direct juxtaposition, is extremely upset and appears to be in a state of disbelief about what just happened. Only when he realises what the woman is doing, does the cop react...

“I told him not to reach for it,” before yelling 'fuck.'

Remember, contrary to the Hollywood narrative, shooting someone is every cops worst nightmare. Just listen to the audio a couple of times and tell me something here doesn't stink to high heaven.

It has been widely reported that Philando had a valid CCW, but I've yet to hear that from any official source. If this is so, his apparent connection to the Crips street gang suggests a less than vigorous screening process in the state of Minnesota.

Hopefully the officer was wearing a bodycam and we'll get to see the whole story.

He wrote he is “concerned for the safety of my family, my friends and any human being that could fall victim to this pattern.” He would know. But those slain at his event in Toronto were not killed by police.

Nor were the 23 people shot to death in Toronto so far in 2016 — a 109% higher number of victims compared to last year.

Riyadh (AFP) • Outrage spread on Tuesday after a deadly suicide bombing at Islam's second-holiest site in the Saudi city of Medina, one of three attacks in the kingdom on a single day.

There were no claims of responsibilty for Monday's bombings in Medina, Jeddah and the eastern city of Qatif, but the Islamic State group had urged its supporters to carry out attacks during Ramadan.

Nasima al-Sada, a Qatif resident, called the attackers crazy and said: "I don't know where they get this idea."
