Today's fake CBC news

Despite all the obvious issues, let's blame Donald Trump for 3D printed guns...insert alt text hereOf course, there are a few flies in the ointment...
"Gun industry experts have expressed doubt that criminals would go to the trouble, since the printers needed to make the guns are very expensive, the guns themselves tend to disintegrate quickly and traditional firearms are easy to come by."
But, wait... let's ask an objective source...
The settlement, which was signed in April but only took effect in late June, says that the DEFCAD files in question are "approved for public release (unlimited distribution) in any form and are exempt from the export licensing requirements of the International Traffic in Arms Regulations."

The State Department has also agreed to pay Defense Distributed's legal fees, which total nearly $40,000.
It's important to remember, this was all Obama era stuff...
The federal civil suit began more than five years ago when Cody Wilson and his group, Defense Distributed, published designs for the "Liberator," the world’s first 3D-printed handgun.

In the United States, the Supreme Court has generally rejected the concept of prior restraint.
Ted Kennedy's car has still killed more people than all the 3D printed guns in the world.

Mr. Trudeau likely has a lot to learn about new Canadians' mindsets. Many of us come from developing countries where mass migration didn’t result in bureaucratic overflow, but in chaos, violence and political instability.

And where's the evidence for all your assertions about mental illness? And I don't just mean anecdotes from friends...
The National Post has learned that Toronto Police files show little evidence of the typical history of a person with a florid mental illness such as “psychosis,” as his family said. A senior police source, while cautioning that this doesn’t mean Hussain wasn’t mentally ill, said that often with such people, there are frequent encounters with police — calls from the family for help, suicide attempts or committals to hospital under the Mental Health Act.

With Hussain, the source said, “we have very little of that.”

The third party, who had distributed the family’s statement, didn’t reply to a Post email Tuesday, asking if he had any light to shed on the apparent contradiction between the statement and police files.

"It's empowering to do things in response to the situation," Nahnda Garlow, one of the women who proposed the ban explained. "We want to take control of their own lives again. A sporting goods store employee, Dean Crouch, 32, who last month helped catch a suspect allegedly trying to steal a .40 caliber handgun and matching ammunition, was suspended and later lost his job at the Florida business following the incident, his lawyer said.

His attorney, Ryan Hobbs, claimed his client was placed on suspension in the days after the incident amid a policy that prohibits employees from placing their hands on customers while they’re in the store.

Company spokeswoman Elise Hasbrook told the Democrat that Academy Sports’s treatment of the former employee’s conduct, as well as his eventual firing, complied with company policy.
