First weekend of Mayor Tory's...

Toronto police and homicide are investigating after a man was killed in Leslieville early Saturday morning.

The incident occurred in the area of Eastern Ave. and Morse St., near Broadview Ave., shortly after 1 a.m.
Remember, this isn't 200 freshly hired officers... it's a bunch of discouraged run-down line coppers they convinced to pull overtime.

UPDATE: DEAD man identified...
Det. Leslie Dunkley identified the victim as 47-year-old Kerry Romain of Toronto. “It was an unprovoked attack on an innocent man I believe.”
