A teenage friend of Trayvon Martin was forced to admit today in the George Zimmerman murder trial that she did not write a letter that was sent to Martin's mother describing what she allegedly heard on a phone call with Martin moments before he was shot.

Jeantel, 19, was unable to read any of the letter save for her name.
So, in addition to lying under oath, this compassionate, intellectual charmer also got someone to forge a letter in her name that was sent to Trayvons mother. What's next... a message from Trayvon from the other side?
She is seen as a critical witness to the prosecution because she is the only person able to say that Martin claimed that he noticed a strange man following him and that he was scared. Jeantel said Martin described the stranger as a "creepy ass cracker."
The fact that the prosecution was willing to put this person on the witness stand is a measure of how desperate they are.

A mans life hangs in the balance. Should Rachel Jeantel be allowed to push George Zimmerman off this judicial cliff?

Stepping Up: A Strategic Framework to Help Ontario’s Youth Succeed, released Tuesday, provides a list of concrete outcomes that will aid policy development for 18 government ministries that serve youth.
"Concrete outcomes", huh? That sounds great. Where can we get a peek at these allegedly solid solutions?

Let's ask the impressively titled Lekan Olawoye, chair of the Ontario Premier's Council on Youth Opportunities and executive director of For Youth Initiative.
"It boils down to supporting a young person so that the drive to take risks is channeled into things like falling off a skateboard or moving to South Korea — not picking up a gun."
Say what? Our new policy is to offer "support" for skateboarding?

I have to say I was expecting something a little meatier from a guy who has a Masters Degree in social work. Are you really telling us the west end Bloods & Crips are trading in their Saturday Night Specials for skateboards & frequent flyer miles?

C'mon, Lekan... give us something we can get behind. Give us details.
“I’ve called mothers, and supported mothers, to bury their children. That stuff is not OK.”
Wait a minute. You've supported mothers... to bury their children? What does that even mean?

I've often wondered what went through Barack Obamas mothers mind every time she heard that "first black president" thing. It's like she, as an individual, simply didn't exist.

Seemingly, all the credit for who Barack Obama is and what he has accomplished goes to a father who, ironically, (and more to the point, stereotypically) abandoned his wife & young child.

Culturally, he is simply another opportunistic progeny of the fabled "Cook County machine" foisted upon a guilt-ridden American public at a perfectly timed point in American history.
