There's a search underway for two sword-wielding men who tried to rob a bank in the city's northwest end this morning.No self-esteem problems here.
The pair walked into a TD Canada Trust at Kipling and Steeles Ave. armed with swords and demanding money around 9:10 a.m., Toronto Police Sgt. Kevin Drake said.
The suspects are described as black men in their 20s, about 5-foot-7, 150 lbs., with slim builds, black jeans, black hoodies and black jackets. One had a bandana over his face, while the other was wearing a ski mask.
