Toronto police are asking for witnesses to come forward after a man was found shot to death this morning.

Officers found a man dead in the Close Avenue Parkette at about 7:50 a.m.

UPDATE: Murder victim id'd
Sultan Dailey, 20, has been identified as the city's 45th homicide victim of 2010.
And a little closer to the heart of the city...
-- TORONTO, Ont. -- Police have confirmed to 680News that a shooting occurred Sunday evening on Ryerson Avenue, in the Spadina and Queen area.

EMS say the male victim was rushed to hospital with multiple gunshot wounds and has life-threatening injuries.

Police say there are indications the man, who is believed to be in his 20s, may have also been stabbed.
No word yet from Mayor Miller's office... which gun club the shooters belonged to.

A Scarborough mom now faces a manslaughter charge in the death of her two-year-old daughter three months ago.

"It was classified just recently as a homicide case," Vella said of the city's 46th murder of the year.

Sabrina Siconolfi, 30, was arrested Monday and charged with manslaughter, criminal negligence causing death, assault causing bodily harm and failing to provide the necessities of life.
