Got a relative who has cancer?

Then you might just wanna talk to Premier Dalton McSlippery...
Politicians and top bureaucrats from provinces across the country have better access to cancer drugs and treatment than their constituents, according to Cancer Advocacy Coalition Canada.
Now, that doesn't sound right... what exactly is happening here? I mean, it's gotta be right there in black & white... right?
It is unclear if that is the case in Ontario, because the legislature wouldn’t give out the information.

A spokesman for the Ontario Ministry of Health couldn’t say why MPPs’ benefits were withheld from the coalition.
Once again... your money... his friends.

Let Dalton know what you think.

RELATED: Speaking of "health care"...

...has Obama actually done the math?
The budget office is required to take written legislation at face value and not second-guess the plausibility of what it is handed. So fantasy in, fantasy out. In reality, if you strip out all the gimmicks and budgetary games and rework the calculus, a wholly different picture emerges: The health care reform legislation would raise, not lower, federal deficits, by $562 billion.

“Removing the unrealistic annual Medicare savings ($463 billion) and the stolen annual revenues from Social Security and long-term care insurance ($123 billion), and adding in the annual spending that so far is not accounted for ($114 billion) quickly generates additional deficits of $562 billion in the first 10 years,” Holtz-Eakin points out
Heck... this guy must just be some knuckle-draggin neocon crank, right?

Well... not exactly...
Douglas Holtz-Eakin, who was the director of the Congressional Budget Office from 2003 to 2005, is the president of the American Action Forum, a policy institute.
Oh-oh.
