Now, it might take a little while for these dumbass thugs to catch on... but, trust me, eventually, they'll get it...

The pirates had at first withdrawn but had returned for a second attempt, at which stage the private guards had apparently fired on their attackers rather than just firing in the air.

Less than fifty bucks worth of ammo... problem solved.
