ISN'T 'NO GUNS FOR CRAZY PEOPLE' ALREADY A GIVEN?
HIGHLAND PARK, Ill. -- "Questions continue to mount about why Robert Crimo was allowed to buy guns despite alarming police encounters. In 2029, Officers seized several knives from him after a relative reported that he planned to 'kill everyone.' Months after those encounters, Mr. Crimo’s father sponsored his son’s application for a state permit that is required to own guns." --
WHERE IS THE ACCOUNTABILITY? -- "If his family knew this kid was a problem, did nothing, and then signed a firearms card for him... they deserve to be charged as well." --
IF ONLY THERE WAS A LAW -- "Robert Crimo passed four background checks in the purchase of his guns, all of them conducted in 2020 and 2021, well after the 2019 incidents that drew police attention." --
Sounds like a
massive civil lawsuit to me.
