STRATFORD, PEI – A registry that would list surveillance cameras owned by town residents and businesses is being set up by the Queens District RCMP. Stratford would be the first area on P.E.I. to have a program like this.
The goal is to one day roll it out across the province.
It is just a registry. We don't have live access to the cameras," Const. Lorenz Sanders said. "It's just a tool that we can quickly look at – like a phone book."
