Officers discovered two men wounded and a black car riddled with bullets on Oak St., in the Dundas and River Sts. area, around 10:30 p.m. Wednesday. The pair were rushed to hospital, where one of them — reportedly aged 21 • died.

On Thursday, January 2, 2020, Ahmed Yakot, 21, of Toronto, died in hospital as a result of his injuries.

His injuries? Let's just say, they weren't kidding around.
