Consider the source

So all these rumours of a Jaffer-Guergis coke ring might not have a 14 carat provenance after all?

Why... I'm simply astounded...
Mr. Snowdy originally called the Liberal Party with his allegations on Thursday afternoon, on the day that the first story into Mr. Jaffer’s affairs appeared in The Star.

The Liberals, however, decided that they weren’t about to get into these types of dealings, and never returned the call.
Time for Ms. Guergis and her lawyer to get in a few licks...
“After days of unfair speculation we finally know what the allegations are,” said Mr. Rubel, referring to recent media reports that include allegations of cocaine use and the threat of blackmail.
And what's the deal with this private investigator? Does client confidentiality figure into this thing anywhere... or do you just sell investigative results to the highest bidder?

I can't wait to see who's at the bottom of this puppy pile.

UPDATE: The Liberal worm turns...
“I would always call the person myself, tell them the allegation and hear their side of the story,” he said. “At that point, I would have some kind of independent confirmation of the allegations.”
That's funny... that's not what Grand Poohbah Iggy & Sideshow Jack were saying just the other day.

The Liberals also had MP Wayne Easter being interviewed on CTV last night. Strangely enough, ol' Wayne was suddenly bent right outta shape over the shameful treatment of Ms. Guergis... by the Prime Minister.

Yeah... way to audible, Wiener.
