One man is dead and five people are under arrest after a shooting on Vaughan Rd. last night.

Toronto Police were called to the Glenora Ave. area, just east of Oakwood Ave., around 8:30 p.m. after residents reported hearing multiple gunshots fired.

Robert Flagiello, 18, was transported from the shooting scene to Sunnybrook hospital with a wound to the abdomen, police said. He was later pronounced dead at hospital.
No word yet from Mayor Miller's office... on which gun club the shooters belonged to.

UPDATE: More GTA mayhem
A 38-year-old man was found slain in a Brampton house today. The victim has been identified as George Kalogerakis of Brampton.

Three men, armed with a handgun, fled the scene in a stolen 2005 black four-door Nissan Altima, with Ontario licence plate AWJB 247. The trio is considered "extremely dangerous" and should not be approached, said police.

UPDATE: Arrest in GTA killing
-- BRAMPTON, Ont. -- A Brampton teen will be charged today with first-degree murder in the death of a home invasion victim.

Peel police arrested Isaac Kwakye, 18, yesterday.

-- EDMONTON -- A 21-year-old man who was believed to be from the Toronto area has become the focus of the latest murder investigation in Edmonton.

Police say the body of Abdulaziz Osman Isse was found Thursday morning on the grounds surrounding a west-end synagogue - the victim of an apparent shooting.
