Compassionate, intellectual Socialists...

..get emergency debate, because, you know... they're all about the little guy...
Liberal MP Carolyn Bennett -- "There's a big difference between ordering 50.4 million doses and getting it into Canadians' arms. There just doesn't seem to have been any leadership on this."
Gee, Carolyn... you're not just, a la your colleague Hedy Fry... playing stupid partisan games are you?
"Canada's vaccine manufacturer did not inform federal health officials until Thursday that the number of H1N1 doses available to Canadians next week would shrink by much more than half – prompting provinces to suspend the rollout of the vaccine to the general public for at least a couple of weeks."
Just listened to the CTV affiliate in Ottawa announce that there have been as many area residents innoculated in the last week as usually get flu shots over the entire sick season.

Go Carolyn... for gawd's sake, don't let that stop you.

FROM THE COMMENTS:
"Body bags, communion wafers, Olympic logos, oversized cheques, sexy cancer, etc, etc, etc - perhaps if the Liberals and it's 'leadership' weren't so bereft of ideas and policies that they concentrate on scandal mongering to the exclusion of all else, Canadians might take Liberal words seriously."
And...
“One huge problem is that the public is unlikely to see this as a political issue,” said a veteran Liberal, who advised previous Liberal leaders on their communications strategies. “Among many other things, health is a provincial responsibility.”
