Yeah... it's tempting, my friend...

...but I think I'm just gonna stick with "Big Pharma" on this one...
Last month, a Dene healer called for the medical community to consider traditional medicine when dealing with the swine flu pandemic. "Let us combine our medicines together,'" Besha Blondin, a healer from Déline, N.W.T., urged.

"We need to kind of establish a partnership process for … Western medicine system as well as the traditional."
Well, Besha... maybe, for starters... you could take care of the homeless 10 year-olds littering Iqaluit streets... then work on improving western medical practices in the rest of the country...
Stephen Harper says the photos of two young boys sleeping overnight next to outdoor garbage cans in Iqaluit are a “terrible, tragic story” that shows social challenges are still too prevalent in Canada.

“It's real. It's not unusual and that's really what's going on,” Iqaluit councillor Glenn Williams said when asked about the photos of the two boys. “It's embarrassing.

While we're at it... let's call in a consultant from the "Pauchay Childcare Institute."

Anyone else find it ironic that the left, which wants us to believe every scientific fact when it comes to global warming (even when it might not really BE a fact), will continually push for "traditional" medicine of dubious scientific merit?
