Bright lights, big city...

..."knock, knock... who's there?"...
The Toronto police hold-up squad has arrested five individuals allegedly responsible for a sixth of this year's home invasions.

Beginning in mid-January, a gang of bandits violently robbed homeowners across the city. Victims were locked in closets, threatened at gunpoint and had hot knives held to their skin as the assailants demanded to know where valuables might be hidden.

Alfred Busia, 19, Aundre Rose, 19, Jermayne James, 21, Sharlene Webster, 20, and Obinna Nwogu, 24, are each charged with numerous robbery- and firearms-related offences.

One suspect, Pierre Oliver Ellis, 22, remains wanted. He is considered armed and very dangerous, said Crawford.
