Looks like somebody... and their commmunity... sprang into action... poll suddenly jumps to 43 to 57 percent.

The truth is, it doesn't matter if the G&M were to incorporate an image of Stalin into their masthead, Canadians aren't interested in welcoming possible terrorists into our country, and want our federal government to prevent this crap.
It isn't rocket science to figure out how the results went this way.
