Arrrrrr... Billy, have you ever been to sea?

Bill Graham and the Fiberals are apparently taking another "principled stand"... this time fighting for the rights of teenage boys.

No, no... relax. It's not another government subsidised heroin parlour. It's just resolutions for the upcoming Liberal Leadership Convention.
Resolution No. 45: WHEREAS the current law discriminates against unmarried same-sex couples by not permitting unmarried persons under 18 to legally engage in consensual anal intercourse;

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Liberal Party of Canada urge the Federal Government of Canada to bring the age of consent for anal intercourse in equal pairing with other forms of sexual activity.
The Phantom Observer wants to know...
Umm . . . is discussing allowing teenagers to bugger each other really the business of the Liberal Party?
Well, lemme see... the Libs are in favour of enabling intravenous drug use and giving the vote to imprisoned murderers and rapists.

Looks like this one fits right in there... no pun intended.

SIDENOTE: It's a hard choice.

I don't know what pisses me off more... encouraging adolescent sodomy, or bringing in financial penalties for people who don't buy eco-cars?

UPDATE: But what about that scary Stephen Harper?

It's true, Harper's against both adolescent sodomy and intravenous drug abuse.
Since assuming office in January, Canada’s New Government has introduced a number of initiatives to tackle crime and protect the safety and security of Canadians. These include legislation to:

Impose stricter conditions on dangerous offenders;

End conditional sentences for serious offences;

Implement mandatory minimum sentences for crimes involving guns;

Raise the age of consent for sexual activity from 14 to 16 years; and

Crack down on street racing.
The Libs are right... he's no fun at all.
